Na zd\u00e1rn\u00fd pr\u016fb\u011bh oslav obvykle dohl\u00ed\u017eeli zvolen\u00ed a zvl\u00e1\u0161\u0165 respektovan\u00ed ob\u010dan\u00e9 vesnice, tzv. st\u00e1rkov\u00e9 a st\u00e1rkyn\u011b. St\u00e1rek je odvozen od slova starati se. Jde o osobu nebo osoby, kter\u00e9 p\u0159eb\u00edraj\u00ed zodpov\u011bdnost za p\u0159\u00edpravu hod\u016f, sou\u010dasn\u011b se tak st\u00e1vaj\u00ed jejich hlavn\u00edmi akt\u00e9ry. Po\u010det st\u00e1rk\u016f se li\u0161\u00ed nejen v regionech, ale tak\u00e9 v sousedn\u00edch vesnic\u00edch. Nej\u010dast\u011bji jsou chasou voleni dva st\u00e1rci, kte\u0159\u00ed spolu s vybran\u00fdmi d\u011bv\u010daty tvo\u0159\u00ed dva st\u00e1rkovsk\u00e9 p\u00e1ry. St\u00e1rkov\u00e1n\u00ed obvykle p\u0159ipadne na svobodn\u00e9 ml\u00e1dence, ale najdeme tak\u00e9 obce, kde jeden nebo dva st\u00e1rci jsou voleni z \u0159ad \u017een\u00e1\u010d\u016f. V minulosti byli jako st\u00e1rci \u010dasto voleni chlapci ze z\u00e1mo\u017en\u00fdch rodin, kte\u0159\u00ed dok\u00e1zali zajistit bohat\u00e9 ob\u010derstven\u00ed, zaplatit muziku a garantovat tak zd\u00e1rn\u00fd pr\u016fb\u011bh posv\u00edcen\u00ed. Slavili ho stejn\u011b v m\u011bste\u010dk\u00e1ch, ve vs\u00edch i na samot\u00e1ch. Tak dva t\u0159i dny p\u0159edt\u00edm nem\u011bl u\u017e nijak\u00fd mu\u017e v p\u0159eds\u00edni \u010di sv\u011btnici co pohled\u00e1vat, pon\u011bvad\u017e \u017eensk\u00e9 m\u011bly pln\u00e9 ruce pr\u00e1ce s b\u00edlen\u00edm, \u00faklidem, sm\u00fd\u010den\u00edm a par\u00e1d\u011bn\u00edm.<\/p>\n<p>Zat\u00edmco dcery a d\u011bve\u010dky opra\u0161ovaly nebo om\u00fdvaly ka\u017edi\u010dk\u00fd p\u0159edm\u011bt v dom\u011b, zab\u00fdvala se u\u017e matka p\u0159\u00edpravou sv\u00e1te\u010dn\u00edch krm\u00ed. Va\u0159ila, pekla a sma\u017eila od \u010dasn\u00e9ho r\u00e1na do pozdn\u00edho ve\u010dera. Na posv\u00edcen\u00ed &#8211; ne, to se nedalo vystavit snad pomluv\u00e1m, \u017ee j\u00eddlo nen\u00ed dost dobr\u00e9 \u010di dokonce, \u017ee ho bylo m\u00e1lo.<br \/>\nPosv\u00edcen\u00ed je c\u00edrkevn\u00ed slavnost, b\u011bhem kter\u00e9 se posv\u011bt\u00ed kostel. Proto je v\u00fdraz posv\u00edcen\u00ed toto\u017en\u00fd s v\u00fdrazem posv\u011bcen\u00ed. Na Morav\u011b se mu \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 Hody, ve Slezsku Kiermasz a na ji\u017en\u00ed Morav\u011b Kiritag. Tato slavnost souvis\u00ed s dostavbou kostela a byla pova\u017eov\u00e1na za velmi v\u00fdznamnou. Po dokon\u010den\u00ed stavby byl kostel vyjmut ze sv\u011btsk\u00e9 sf\u00e9ry a teprve po posv\u011bcen\u00ed se v n\u011bm mohly konat bohoslu\u017eby.<\/p>\n<p>Den p\u0159ed slavnost\u00ed se kolem kostela postavily dva nebo i t\u0159i poln\u00ed olt\u00e1\u0159e a u jednoho z nich se druh\u00fd den r\u00e1no v\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00ed modlili. Biskup, kter\u00fd kostel sv\u011btil ho za zp\u011bv\u016f a modliteb t\u0159ikr\u00e1t i s pr\u016fvodem obyvatel vesnice obch\u00e1zel a zdi kostela kropil sv\u011bcenou vodou. Kostel byl zam\u010den\u00fd a uvnit\u0159 \u010dekal kn\u011bz. Poka\u017ed\u00e9, kdy\u017e \u0161el biskup s pr\u016fvodem kolem zam\u010den\u00fdch dve\u0159\u00ed kostela, zaklepal na n\u011b berlou a pron\u00e1\u0161el \u0159e\u010d, na kterou mu kn\u011bz za dve\u0159mi kostela odpov\u00eddal. Kdy\u017e biskup zaklepal na dve\u0159e pot\u0159et\u00ed, ud\u011blal na n\u011b znamen\u00ed k\u0159\u00ed\u017ee a kn\u011bz dve\u0159e kostela otev\u0159el. Biskup s v\u011b\u0159\u00edc\u00edmi ve\u0161el dovnit\u0159 a sv\u011bcenou vodou posv\u011btil olt\u00e1\u0159, pak v\u0161ichni vy\u0161li znovu p\u0159ed kostel a biskup od kosteln\u00edka p\u0159evzal schr\u00e1nku s ostatky sv\u011btce \u2013 patrona kostela a znovu s nimi obch\u00e1zel kostel, pak je ulo\u017eil do olt\u00e1\u0159e a n\u00e1sledovalo sv\u011bcen\u00ed v\u0161ech obraz\u016f a soch, kter\u00e9 byly v kostele. Pak slou\u017eil prvn\u00ed svatou m\u0161i.<\/p>\n<p>Podle legendy prvn\u00ed posv\u00edcen\u00ed slavil kr\u00e1l \u0160alamoun. Po dostavb\u011b chr\u00e1mu v Jeruzal\u00e9mu chr\u00e1m posv\u011btil a potom ka\u017ed\u00fd rok v\u017edy ve stejn\u00fd den na po\u010dest vysv\u011bcen\u00ed chr\u00e1mu zval sv\u00e9 p\u0159\u00e1tel\u00e9 na hostinu.Posv\u00edcen\u00ed je v\u00fdro\u010dn\u00ed slavnost, kter\u00e1 se slav\u00ed v\u017edy v ned\u011bli p\u0159ed nebo po sv\u00e1tku sv\u011btce, kter\u00e9mu je m\u00edstn\u00ed kostel zasv\u011bcen. Posv\u00edcen\u00ed se obvykle slavilo od sobotn\u00edho do \u00fatern\u00edho r\u00e1na, v n\u011bkter\u00fdch oblastech i t\u00fdden \u2013 od ned\u011ble do ned\u011ble.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159\u00edpravy na posv\u00edcen\u00ed za\u010daly d\u016fkladn\u00fdm \u00faklidem domu i hospod\u00e1\u0159sk\u00fdch budov. V p\u00e1tek zab\u00edjely hospodyn\u011b husy, kachny, ku\u0159ata, \u010dasto i prasata a v sobotu je pekly, sma\u017eily \u0159\u00edzky a dohl\u00ed\u017eely na \u0159ezn\u00edka, aby v\u00fdrobky z prasete byly chutn\u00e9. Podle recept\u016f sv\u00fdch babi\u010dek pekly kol\u00e1\u010de a odpoledne je pos\u00edlaly p\u0159\u00edbuzn\u00fdm a p\u0159\u00e1tel\u016fm s pozv\u00e1n\u00edm na ned\u011bln\u00ed slavnostn\u00ed ob\u011bd. Sch\u00e1zely se na n\u011bj cel\u00e9 rodiny v\u010detn\u011b vzd\u00e1len\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edbuzn\u00fdch, p\u0159\u00e1tel a soused\u016f. O posv\u00edcen\u00ed byl poho\u0161t\u011bn ka\u017ed\u00fd, kdo p\u0159i\u0161el do domu. Muselo se dodr\u017eovat po\u0159ekadlo \u201eHost do domu, B\u016fh do domu.\u201c Pozv\u00e1ni byli p\u0159\u00edbuzn\u00ed, far\u00e1\u0159, kantor, kosteln\u00edk. P\u0159ich\u00e1zeli na hostinu i \u0159emesln\u00edci, kte\u0159\u00ed pro sedl\u00e1ky pracovali. Na posv\u00edcen\u00ed p\u0159i\u0161li nejen pozvan\u00ed host\u00e9, ale posv\u00edcen\u00ed vyu\u017e\u00edvali nejen r\u016fzn\u00ed potuln\u00ed vandr\u00e1ci, tul\u00e1ci, \u017eebr\u00e1ci, komedianti, opilci, pobudov\u00e9, ale tak\u00e9 pan\u0161t\u00ed \u00fa\u0159edn\u00edci, holomci a slu\u017eebnictvo ze z\u00e1mk\u016f. Tak\u017ee ke vsi, kde se pr\u00e1v\u011b konalo posv\u00edcen\u00ed, v ned\u011bli p\u0159ed polednem n\u011bkdy t\u00e1hlo cel\u00e9 proces\u00ed hladov\u00fdch krk\u016f a mlsn\u00fdch jazyk\u016f. Nejdrzej\u0161\u00ed byli ti ze z\u00e1mku. Rozb\u011bhli se po vsi, vpadli do kuchyn\u00ed a ne\u010dekali, a\u017e jim j\u00eddlo bude nab\u00eddnuto nebo bude na stole, ale rovnou zam\u00ed\u0159ili k pek\u00e1\u010di a vyb\u00edrali nejlep\u0161\u00ed kusy pe\u010den\u011b a cpali kol\u00e1\u010de do kapes. A pokra\u010dovali do dal\u0161\u00edho staven\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>O posv\u00edcen\u00ed se dve\u0159e u sedl\u00e1k\u016f \u201enetrhly\u201c. P\u0159\u00ed\u0161t\u00ed ned\u011bli ti sam\u00ed nezvan\u00ed host\u00e9 ob\u0161\u0165astnili svou n\u00e1v\u0161t\u011bvou zas jinou ves. O tomto ne\u0161varu, kter\u00fd se za\u010dal \u0161\u00ed\u0159it po v\u0161ech kraj\u00edch, se dozv\u011bd\u011bl i c\u00edsa\u0159 Josef II. a rozhodl se v roce 1786 zas\u00e1hnout. Ud\u011blal to velmi chyt\u0159e. Zak\u00e1zal r\u016fzn\u00e9 term\u00edny posv\u00edcen\u00ed, stanovil pro celou monarchii jedin\u00fd term\u00edn posv\u00edcen\u00ed, kter\u00e9 dostalo n\u00e1zev \u201eC\u00edsa\u0159sk\u00e9 posv\u00edcen\u00ed\u201c. Pro kon\u00e1n\u00ed tohoto posv\u00edcen\u00ed ur\u010dil t\u0159et\u00ed \u0159\u00edjnovou ned\u011bli. T\u00edm rozt\u0159\u00ed\u0161til bandy vyj\u00edda\u010d\u016f vesnic, kte\u0159\u00ed p\u0159edt\u00edm si z posv\u00edcen\u00ed t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 ud\u011blali zp\u016fsob ob\u017eivy. Ve\u010der, kdy\u017e byly v\u0161echny p\u0159\u00edpravy ukon\u010deny, vyv\u011bsili na kosteln\u00ed v\u011b\u017e prapor a v ned\u011bli r\u00e1no \u0161li v\u0161ichni do kostela na m\u0161i. Posv\u00edcen\u00ed za\u010dalo slavnostn\u00edm ned\u011bln\u00edm ob\u011bdem. Hostitel\u00e9 nab\u00edzeli sv\u00fdm host\u016fm vype\u010den\u00e9 husy a kachny s knedl\u00edky se zel\u00edm, \u0159\u00edzky, jitrnice, jelita, na stole nechyb\u011bly kol\u00e1\u010de a pivo. Host\u00e9 vypr\u00e1v\u011bli vesel\u00e9 rodinn\u00e9 historky a spole\u010dnost informovali o v\u0161em, co se v rodin\u00e1ch od jejich posledn\u00edho setk\u00e1n\u00ed stalo. Po ob\u011bd\u011b \u0161li znovu do kostela pro po\u017eehn\u00e1n\u00ed. Po n\u011bm se z hospody ozvala hudba a v\u0161ichni \u0161li tan\u010dit.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0159i posv\u00edcen\u00ed se pamatovalo i na mrtv\u00e9. V pond\u011bl\u00ed po posv\u00edcensk\u00e9 ned\u011bli se v kostelech konaly z\u00e1du\u0161n\u00ed m\u0161e za zem\u0159el\u00e9 a chodilo se s kn\u011bzem na h\u0159bitov ke spole\u010dn\u00e9 modlitb\u011b. Pot\u00e9 lid\u00e9 nav\u0161t\u011bvovali hroby sv\u00fdch p\u0159edk\u016f. Po ob\u0159adech se po\u0159\u00e1dala v hospod\u011b hostina na po\u010dest zem\u0159el\u00fdch, aby se mrtv\u00ed mohli radovat spole\u010dn\u011b s \u017eiv\u00fdmi. Tan\u010dilo se, jedlo a pilo, dokud nesho\u0159ela zap\u00e1len\u00e1 sv\u00edce \u2013 odtud z\u0159ejm\u011b poch\u00e1z\u00ed i posv\u00edcensk\u00e1 \u201cp\u011bkn\u00e1\u201d nebo \u201czlat\u00e1 hodinka\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>V roce 1918, p\u0159i vzniku na\u0161\u00ed republiky, siln\u011b o\u017eila tradice svatov\u00e1clavsk\u00e1, proto v n\u011bkter\u00fdch vs\u00edch si zavedli hody svatov\u00e1clavsk\u00e9. A je zaj\u00edmav\u00e9, \u017ee se tak stalo i v n\u011bkolika n\u011bmeck\u00fdch vs\u00edch v sudetsk\u00e9m \u00fazem\u00ed.
