P\u0159eskakuj\u00ed \u017ehnouc\u00ed oharky nebo dokonce sk\u00e1\u010dou p\u0159es plameny. Ob\u0159ad se naz\u00fdv\u00e1 ,p\u00e1len\u00ed \u010darod\u011bjnic\u2018. Na n\u011bkter\u00fdch m\u00edstech b\u00fdv\u00e1 zvykem na hranici upalovat loutku p\u0159edstavuj\u00edc\u00ed \u010darod\u011bjnici.<\/h6>\n<p>Mus\u00edme si p\u0159ipomenout, \u017ee prvn\u00ed m\u00e1j je proslul\u00e1 Valpur\u017eina noc a v\u0161ude v pov\u011bt\u0159\u00ed je plno neviditeln\u00fdch \u010darod\u011bjnic na pekeln\u00fdch poch\u016fzk\u00e1ch&#8230;..\u201eToho dne p\u0159ed sv. Filipem a Jakubem podle zdej\u0161\u00ed pov\u011bry mus\u00ed v\u0161ecko v chl\u00e9vech b\u00fdti zpraveno a pokl\u00edzeno, dobytek nakrmen i podojen, d\u0159\u00edve ne\u017eli slunce zajde, a chl\u00e9vy zav\u0159eny, sice by \u010darod\u011bjnice m\u011bla moc tomu chl\u00e9vu a dobytku u\u010darovati, u\u0161koditi. Proto tak\u00e9 toho dne p\u0159ed z\u00e1padem slunce mus\u00ed se ratolest \u010derstv\u00e1 z b\u0159\u00edzy nebo vrby neb z jin\u00e9ho stromu do hnoje p\u0159ed chl\u00e9vem [\u2026] zastr\u010diti, aby \u010darod\u011bjnice neu\u0161kodily.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>V minulosti se 1. kv\u011btna slavil sv\u00e1tek sv. Filipa a Jakuba. Odtud n\u00e1zev filipojakubsk\u00e1 noc, i kdy\u017e dnes u\u017e je ofici\u00e1ln\u00ed kalend\u00e1\u0159 trochu jin\u00fd. V katolick\u00e9m kalend\u00e1\u0159i do\u0161lo k posunu obou apo\u0161tol\u016f na 3. kv\u011btna. Oba sv\u011btci byli u\u010dedn\u00edky Je\u017e\u00ed\u0161e. Filipa ukamenovali na k\u0159\u00ed\u017ei a Jakub byl shozen z hradeb Jeruzal\u00e9ma, proto\u017ee odm\u00edtl prohl\u00e1sit Krista za podvodn\u00edka. Byl jeho p\u0159\u00edbuzn\u00fdm a \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 se mu Jakub Men\u0161\u00ed. N\u011bkdy se tato noc ozna\u010duje tak\u00e9 jako Valpur\u017eina, a to podle Goethova Fausta, kde se popisuje tajupln\u00fd slet \u010darod\u011bjnic s pekelnickou slavnost\u00ed. N\u00e1zev je odvozen od jm\u00e9na abaty\u0161e Walburgy, kter\u00e1 proslula jako ochr\u00e1nkyn\u011b p\u0159ed kouzly a \u010darod\u011bjnictv\u00edm.<\/p>\n<p>Zvyk p\u00e1len\u00ed oh\u0148\u016f v p\u0159edve\u010der prvn\u00edho m\u00e1je nen\u00ed zmi\u0148ov\u00e1n v \u017e\u00e1dn\u00fdch staro\u010desk\u00fdch pramenech a podle \u010ce\u0148ka Z\u00edbrta vznikl pod n\u011bmeck\u00fdm vlivem. U\u017e v polovin\u011b 19. stolet\u00ed v\u0161ak byl tento zvyk zakazov\u00e1n jako pov\u011bre\u010dn\u00e1 praktika, stejn\u011b tak nemohl prob\u00edhat b\u011bhem druh\u00e9 sv\u011btov\u00e9 v\u00e1lky a byl potla\u010dov\u00e1n komunistick\u00fdm re\u017eimem. Na mnoha m\u00edstech \u010ceska tak p\u00e1len\u00ed \u010darod\u011bjnic zaniklo. Dal\u0161\u00edm typick\u00fdm zvykem bylo met\u00e1n\u00ed zap\u00e1len\u00fdch ko\u0161\u0165at do vzduchu a no\u0161en\u00ed jejich oho\u0159el\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1stech dom\u016f pro ochranu. Krom\u011b toho se v souvislosti s nadch\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00edm prvn\u00edm m\u00e1jem stav\u011bla m\u00e1jka, ukl\u00edzelo hospod\u00e1\u0159stv\u00ed a chl\u00e9vy a um\u00eds\u0165ovaly v\u011btvi\u010dky do oken za \u00fa\u010delem ochrany.<\/p>\n<p>Venkov\u0161t\u00ed lid\u00e9 v\u011b\u0159ili, \u017ee \u010darod\u011bjnice mohou o\u010darovat dobytek, kter\u00fd se stal nedu\u017eiv\u00fd a m\u00e1lo dojil. B\u00e1li se p\u016fj\u010dovat \u010derstv\u011b nadojen\u00e9 ml\u00e9ko a hl\u00eddali, aby se neztratil ani kousek hnoje z chl\u00e9va. Na obranu m\u011bli i za\u0159\u00edk\u00e1v\u00e1n\u00ed, v nich\u017e si brali na pomoc Krista, Marii a r\u016fzn\u00e9 svat\u00e9. Nikdo nevysv\u011btl\u00ed pro\u010d, ale lid\u00e9 v\u011b\u0159ili, \u017ee se \u010darod\u011bjnice ob\u00e1vaj\u00ed hluku. Proto se na ochranu i st\u0159\u00edlelo. V\u011bt\u0161inou jen do vzduchu, ale zachovala se zaj\u00edmav\u00e1 vzpom\u00ednka ze \u0160umavy, kde hospod\u00e1\u0159 vyst\u0159elil do ml\u00e9ka od u\u0159knut\u00e9 kr\u00e1vy, \u010darod\u011bjnice se pr\u00fd polekala a kr\u00e1vu nechala na pokoji. Sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed historie a v\u00fdvoje tohoto sv\u00e1tku, jak uv\u00e1d\u00ed prameny, byla snaha potla\u010dit zvyk p\u00e1lit ohn\u011b v p\u0159edve\u010der prvn\u00edho m\u00e1je. Z\u00edbrt k tomu uv\u00e1d\u00ed: \u201ezvyk ten v\u0161ak miz\u00ed z tradice lidu \u010desk\u00e9ho n\u00e1tlakem z\u00e1kaz\u016f, je\u017e pronikly ji\u017e v prvn\u00ed polovici stolet\u00ed z m\u011bst do vesnic, kde\u017e nak\u00e1z\u00e1no p\u0159\u00edsn\u011b ka\u017ed\u00e9mu rycht\u00e1\u0159i, aby netrp\u011bl pov\u011bre\u010dn\u00e9ho p\u00e1len\u00ed oh\u0148\u016f p\u0159ed prvn\u00edm m\u00e1jem.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201eStaven\u00ed se kropila sv\u011bcenou vodou, ochranu m\u011bla zajistit \u010d\u00e1ra nebo tajupln\u00fd n\u00e1pis sv\u011bcenou k\u0159\u00eddou. V jin\u00fdch m\u00edstech se nespol\u00e9hali pouze na Bo\u017e\u00ed pomoc a zkou\u0161eli i r\u016fzn\u00e1 jednoduch\u00e1 \u201etechnick\u00e1\u201c za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed. P\u0159ed vrata, na dv\u016fr nebo do oken se kladlo pichlav\u00e9 trn\u00ed hlohu, zapichovaly se za\u0161pi\u010dat\u011bl\u00e9 pruty z l\u00edpy, ak\u00e1tu a dal\u0161\u00edch strom\u016f i ke\u0159\u016f, aby se o n\u011bj dot\u011brn\u00e1 \u010darod\u011bjnice poranila a rad\u011bji \u0161la jinam. M\u00edsto trn\u00ed a prut\u016f se tak\u00e9 pou\u017e\u00edvaly vidle nebo tvrd\u00e1 pichlav\u00e1 prout\u011bn\u00e1 ko\u0161\u0165ata. P\u0159\u00edpadn\u011b se kliky omot\u00e1valy l\u00fdkem. Podle vskutku kuri\u00f3zn\u00edho doporu\u010den\u00ed se mohly nar\u00fdpat travnat\u00e9 drny a polo\u017eit je p\u0159ed vrata staven\u00ed a p\u0159ed vchod do chl\u00e9va a stodoly. Dot\u011brn\u00e1 \u010darod\u011bjnice musela nejprve v\u0161echna st\u00e9bla spo\u010d\u00edtat a ne\u017e \u00fakol zvl\u00e1dla, zakokrhal s p\u0159ich\u00e1zej\u00edc\u00edm r\u00e1nem kohout a moc \u010darod\u011bjnice pominula.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>Takov\u00e9 pov\u011bry u\u017e t\u011bsn\u011b hrani\u010d\u00ed s poh\u00e1dkami, ale lid\u00e9 v jejich \u00fa\u010dinnost v\u011b\u0159ili. Ostatn\u011b poh\u00e1dky tak\u00e9 nebyly v\u017edy jen vypr\u00e1v\u011bn\u00edm pro d\u011bti. Kdysi vznikaly jako pom\u011brn\u011b krut\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy popisuj\u00edc\u00ed r\u016fzn\u00e1 nebezpe\u010d\u00ed, \u010d\u00edhaj\u00edc\u00ed v les\u00edch i jinde na bezbrann\u00e9 lidi a hlavn\u011b d\u011bti. Poslucha\u010de m\u011bly v\u00fdhr\u016f\u017eky vychov\u00e1vat a m\u011bly je odradit od toul\u00e1n\u00ed se d\u00e1l od domova. \u010casto v nich vystupovaly \u010darod\u011bjnice, divo\u017eenky, lesn\u00ed d\u00e9moni a dal\u0161\u00ed zl\u00e9 nadp\u0159irozen\u00e9 bytosti. Teprve v dob\u011b, kdy za\u010dali tyto p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy sb\u00edrat a upravovat spisovatel\u00e9 jako K. J. Erben nebo B. N\u011bmcov\u00e1, zm\u011bnily se poh\u00e1dky v laskav\u00e9 vypr\u00e1v\u011bn\u00ed o v\u00edt\u011bzstv\u00ed dobra nad zlem. V d\u00e1vn\u00fdch tradic\u00edch ode\u0161li \u017eena a mu\u017e do lesa, kde si postavili p\u0159\u00edst\u0159e\u0161ek a spole\u010dn\u011b tam str\u00e1vili noc. Jejich spojen\u00ed bylo vn\u00edm\u00e1no jako spojen\u00ed Boha a Bohyn\u011b, Kr\u00e1le a Kn\u011b\u017eky, jako sjednocen\u00ed protiklad\u016f. Je to toti\u017e plodn\u00e1 noc, ot\u011bhotn\u011bt by mohly i \u017eeny, kter\u00e9 o d\u00edt\u011b neusiluj\u00ed, ale \u0159\u00edk\u00e1 se, \u017ee d\u011bti po\u010dat\u00e9 pr\u00e1v\u011b tuto noc jsou cel\u00fd \u017eivot \u0161\u0165astn\u00e9. D\u016fle\u017eit\u00e9 je, aby m\u011bli milenci na sob\u011b p\u0159i tomto no\u010dn\u00edm pikniku n\u011bco b\u00edl\u00e9ho a \u010derven\u00e9ho, sta\u010d\u00ed i symbolicky, t\u0159eba stu\u017eky. Funguje to nejen d\u00edky magick\u00e9 s\u00edle noci, ale tak\u00e9 d\u00edky tomu, \u017ee nast\u00e1v\u00e1 obdob\u00ed, kdy se seje, bude \u00faroda a budou tedy i potomci.<\/p>\n<p>A je\u0161t\u011b pov\u011bst: <em>\u0160el jeden \u010deled\u00edn k sedl\u00e1\u0159i do Vimperka. Mistr nebyl zrovna doma, a tak se \u010deled\u00edn posadil u domu na kl\u00e1du a \u010dekal. U\u017e zvonilo klek\u00e1n\u00ed, kdy\u017e sedl\u00e1\u0159 dorazil. Je\u0161t\u011b notnou chv\u00edli kutil na objednan\u00e9 ohl\u00e1vce, ne\u017e mohl \u010deled\u00edn na cestu zp\u011bt. Hned za m\u011bstem uvid\u011bl let\u011bt pov\u011bt\u0159\u00edm ohnivou pavuzu, jiskry od n\u00ed jen l\u00e9taly! Je\u0161t\u011b se chasn\u00edk nevzpamatoval z leknut\u00ed a nad hlavou mu svi\u0161t\u00ed ohniv\u00e1 ko\u0161\u0165ata a na nich schoulen\u00e9 postavy. Te\u010f si teprve vzpomn\u011bl, \u017ee je dnes \ufb01lipojakubsk\u00e1 noc a kolem n\u011bj let\u00ed \u010darod\u011bjnice na Bab\u00ed horu na sn\u011bm. Najednou se jedna z nich snesla k mlad\u00edkovi, p\u0159ehodila mu z\u00e1novn\u00ed ohl\u00e1vku p\u0159es hlavu a n\u00e1hle tu st\u00e1l k\u016f\u0148. Baba si jej osedlala a u\u017e let\u00ed ke hv\u011bzd\u00e1m. Jakmile se snesli na Bab\u00ed horu, \u010darod\u011bjnice \u0161lehla kon\u011b proutkem a ten usnul. Kdy\u017e se \u010deled\u00edn probudil op\u011bt v lidsk\u00e9 podob\u011b, sv\u00edtilo slunce vysoko na obzoru.
