Roku 1829 byla zah\u00e1jena pln\u00e1 n\u00e1kladn\u00ed p\u0159eprava a 1855 p\u0159evzaly provoz parn\u00ed lokomotivy. A\u010dkoli se v rakousko-uhersk\u00e9 monarchii, jako ostatn\u011b v\u0161ude v Evrop\u011b, pohl\u00ed\u017eelo zprvu na nov\u00fd druh dopravy s ned\u016fv\u011brou, ba mnohdy s nezakryt\u00fdm odporem, prosadila se ve druh\u00e9 p\u016fli &#8220;stolet\u00ed \u017eeleznice&#8221; v\u00fdstavba \u017eelezni\u010dn\u00edch trat\u00ed v netu\u0161en\u00e9m rozsahu.<\/h6>\n<p>Pot\u00e9, co byly v osmdes\u00e1t\u00fdch letech devaten\u00e1ct\u00e9ho stolet\u00ed dokon\u010deny a uvedeny do provozu hlavn\u00ed trat\u011b rakousko-uhersk\u00e9 monarchie, do\u0161lo na \u00favahy o spoj\u00edch vedlej\u0161\u00edch, kter\u00e9 by dal\u0161\u00edm v\u011btven\u00edm velk\u00fdch lini\u00ed zapojily i venkov do dopravn\u00edho ruchu. V letech 1866-1872 dokon\u010den\u00e1 tra\u0165 c\u00edsa\u0159e Franti\u0161ka Josefa z V\u00eddn\u011b do Chebu (Eger), vedouc\u00ed t\u00e9m\u011b\u0159 rovnob\u011b\u017en\u011b se \u0161umavsk\u00fdmi h\u0159ebeny, nab\u00edzela p\u0159\u00edmo uskute\u010dn\u011bn\u00ed podobn\u00e9ho z\u00e1m\u011bru a z\u00e1kon o m\u00edstn\u00edch drah\u00e1ch, p\u0159ijat\u00fd v letech 1880-1887, uleh\u010dil v\u00fdstavbu a financov\u00e1n\u00ed &#8220;trat\u00ed ni\u017e\u0161\u00edho \u0159\u00e1du&#8221; spoluprac\u00ed st\u00e1tu, zemsk\u00fdch a \u00fazemn\u00edch org\u00e1n\u016f (okres\u016f a obc\u00ed) i zainteresovan\u00fdch subjekt\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>Z iniciativy soukrom\u00fdch podnikatel\u016f byly na \u0160umav\u011b zakl\u00e1d\u00e1ny komise maj\u00edc\u00ed za c\u00edl dohled nad stavbou jednotliv\u00fdch tra\u0165ov\u00fdch \u00fasek\u016f. Komise tvo\u0159ili z\u00e1stupci okres\u016f, obc\u00ed, majitel\u00e9 velkostatk\u016f, pr\u016fmysln\u00edci i dal\u0161\u00ed z\u00e1jemci. Emis\u00ed a prodejem kmenov\u00fdch akci\u00ed, jako\u017e i dotacemi ze strany st\u00e1tu, zem\u011b \u010desk\u00e9 a dal\u0161\u00edch interesent\u016f bylo zaji\u0161t\u011bno financov\u00e1n\u00ed rozs\u00e1hl\u00e9 stavebn\u00ed \u010dinnosti. Nakonec byly v\u0161echny takto z\u0159\u00edzen\u00e9 \u010di zam\u00fd\u0161len\u00e9 tra\u0165ov\u00e9 \u00faseky seskupeny do instituce &#8220;Vereinigte B\u00f6hmerwaldlokalbahnen&#8221; (Spojen\u00e9 \u0161umavsk\u00e9 m\u00edstn\u00ed dr\u00e1hy) se s\u00eddlem ve V\u00eddni.<\/p>\n<p>Roku 1892 byla zbudov\u00e1na tra\u0165 Bud\u011bjovice (Budweis)-Krumlov (Krumau)-\u017delnava (Salnau, p\u0159i \u010dem\u017e n\u011bkdej\u0161\u00ed \u017delnava-n\u00e1dra\u017e\u00ed \/Salnau-Bahnhof\/ je dne\u0161n\u00ed Nov\u00e1 Pec \/Neuofen\/), 1893 n\u00e1sledovaly trat\u011b Vod\u0148any (Wodnian)-Prachatice (Prachatitz) a Strakonice (Strakonitz)-Vimperk (Winterberg), 1899 Prachatice-Volary (Wallern) a Vimperk-Volary, 1910 Volary-\u010cern\u00fd K\u0159\u00ed\u017e (Schwarzes Kreuz)-\u017delnava a kone\u010dn\u011b prodlou\u017een\u00ed trat\u011b z \u010cern\u00e9ho K\u0159\u00ed\u017ee a\u017e do Haidm\u00fchle v Bavorsku, z jeho\u017e strany do\u0161lo t\u00e9ho\u017e roku k dokon\u010den\u00ed p\u0159\u00edpojky Waldkirchen-Haidm\u00fchle na u\u017e v roce 1892 dohotovenou tra\u0165 Bavorsk\u00fdch st\u00e1tn\u00edch drah Pasov (Passau)-Waldkirchen-Freyung. T\u00edm byla dokon\u010dena i z\u00e1kladn\u00ed s\u00ed\u0165 Spojen\u00fdch \u0161umavsk\u00fdch m\u00edstn\u00edch drah, jak trvala a\u017e do roku 1945.<\/p>\n<p>V\u0161echna \u017eelezni\u010dn\u00ed za\u0159\u00edzen\u00ed byla majetkem Spojen\u00fdch \u0161umavsk\u00fdch m\u00edstn\u00edch drah, provoz na nich zaji\u0161\u0165ovaly pak rakousk\u00e9, pozd\u011bji \u010deskoslovensk\u00e9 st\u00e1tn\u00ed dr\u00e1hy. V\u0161echny \u0161umavsk\u00e9 trat\u011b byly zbudov\u00e1ny s tzv. norm\u00e1ln\u00edm rozchodem (Normalspur), tj. 1435 mm. Spoje \u0161umavsk\u00fdch m\u00edstn\u00edch drah n\u00e1sledovaly p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b sv\u00fdm pr\u016fb\u011bhem \u00fadol\u00ed vodn\u00edch tok\u016f, jenom &#8220;\u010desk\u00fd Semmering&#8221; vedl lesy mas\u00edvu Boub\u00edna (Kubany) a dosahoval po mnoha z\u00e1to\u010din\u00e1ch stanice Kubova Hu\u0165 (Kuboh\u00fctten) na k\u00f3t\u011b 993 metr\u016f nadmo\u0159sk\u00e9 v\u00fd\u0161ky. Toto nejv\u00fd\u0161e polo\u017een\u00e9 n\u00e1dra\u017e\u00ed v \u010cech\u00e1ch le\u017e\u00ed je\u0161t\u011b o p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b 8 metr\u016f nad \u00farovn\u00ed vrcholn\u00e9ho bodu sv\u011btozn\u00e1m\u00e9 dr\u00e1hy v Semmeringu (prvn\u00ed horsk\u00e9 \u017eeleznice v Evrop\u011b v\u016fbec, zbudovan\u00e1 v letech 1848-1854).<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;\u010cesk\u00fd Semmering&#8221; se vine od n\u00e1dra\u017e\u00ed ve Vimperku (696 metr\u016f nad mo\u0159em) v \u00faseku 23 kilometr\u016f ke sv\u00e9mu vrcholn\u00e9mu bodu Kubova Hu\u0165, spad\u00e1 \u0161irok\u00fdm obloukem do \u00fadol\u00ed Tepl\u00e9 Vltavy (Warme Moldau) a dosahuje kone\u010dn\u011b Volar (758 metr\u016f nad mo\u0159em) po celkov\u00e9 d\u00e9lce trat\u011b p\u0159es 38 kilometr\u016f z v\u00fdchoz\u00ed stanice Vimperk. Podle j\u00edzdn\u00edho \u0159\u00e1du z prvn\u00edch let provozu obn\u00e1\u0161el \u010das p\u0159epravy osob, ur\u010den\u00fd pro t\u011bchto 38 kilometr\u016f 2 hodiny a 18 minut, k \u010demu\u017e dnes pot\u0159ebuje osobn\u00ed vlak rakousk\u00e9 Westbahn necelou hodinu (\u010cesk\u00e9 dr\u00e1hy na trati Vimperk-Volary v roce 2005 1 hodinu 11 minut).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zdroj:<\/strong> F.
