Cel\u00e9 postn\u00ed obdob\u00ed je postupn\u011b graduj\u00edc\u00edm bojem dobra a zla, sv\u011btla a tmy v jeho\u017e z\u00e1v\u011bru se v\u0161e pln\u011b soust\u0159ed\u00ed na Krist\u016fv z\u00e1pas, jeho\u017e vyvrcholen\u00ed n\u00e1m d\u00e1 poc\u00edtit liturgie Velk\u00e9ho p\u00e1tku. Toto obdob\u00ed pln\u00e9 nap\u011bt\u00ed, sb\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed ve\u0161ker\u00e9ho odhodl\u00e1n\u00ed a p\u0159em\u00e1h\u00e1n\u00ed pochybnost\u00ed &#8211;\u00a0Tempus passionis &#8211;\u00a0za\u010d\u00edn\u00e1 5. postn\u00ed ned\u011bl\u00ed, naz\u00fdvanou t\u00e9\u017e\u00a0Dominica I. Passionis,\u00a0Judica, nebo tak\u00e9\u00a0Smrtn\u00e1 ned\u011ble.<\/h6>\n<p>Po uvoln\u011bn\u00e9 Dru\u017eebn\u00e9 ned\u011bli, kter\u00e1 nab\u00edz\u00ed odpo\u010dinek od p\u0159\u00edsn\u00e9ho p\u016fstu a mo\u017enost nast\u0159\u00e1dat nov\u00e9 s\u00edly do jeho z\u00e1v\u011bre\u010dn\u00e9 etapy, p\u0159ich\u00e1z\u00ed v\u00e1\u017en\u00e9 obdob\u00ed, kter\u00e9 vy\u017eaduje na\u0161e pln\u00e9 soust\u0159ed\u011bn\u00ed. C\u00edrkevn\u00ed liturgie po n\u011bkolik n\u00e1sleduj\u00edc\u00edch dn\u016f opou\u0161t\u00ed od ve\u0161ker\u00fdch projev\u016f radosti. J\u00e1sav\u00e9 pas\u00e1\u017ee me\u0161n\u00edch text\u016f se vypou\u0161t\u011bj\u00ed, olt\u00e1\u0159; obrazy i dal\u0161\u00ed kosteln\u00ed v\u00fdzdobu hal\u00ed op\u011bt fialov\u00e1 barva kaj\u00edcn\u00edk\u016f.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e1zev Smrtn\u00e1 ned\u011ble je poprv\u00e9 dolo\u017een v husitsk\u00e9 postile z 15. stolet\u00ed. Od n\u011bj se pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b odv\u00edjela cel\u00e1 \u0159ada asociac\u00ed, d\u00edky kter\u00fdm za\u010dal b\u00fdt tento den vn\u00edm\u00e1n jako ne\u0161\u0165astn\u00fd, pln\u00fd r\u016fzn\u00fdch neblah\u00fdch p\u0159edzv\u011bst\u00ed. V Orlick\u00fdch hor\u00e1ch se v\u011b\u0159ilo, \u017ee si vodn\u00edk v tento den vy\u017e\u00e1d\u00e1 t\u0159i ob\u011bti, na Brn\u011bnsku lid\u00e9 ze strachu p\u0159ed t\u00edm, aby je smrt neud\u00e1vila, zase povinn\u011b pili ko\u0159alku (a to v\u010detn\u011b d\u011bt\u00ed) a zn\u00e1m\u00fd je tak\u00e9 zvyk z Byd\u017eovska, kde se jako ochrana p\u0159ed smrt\u00ed d\u00e1val do okna kousek lnu.<\/p>\n<p>I do temn\u00e9 atmosf\u00e9ry Smrtn\u00e9 ned\u011ble se v\u0161ak m\u00eds\u00ed radostn\u011b rozmarn\u00e9 t\u00f3ny. V lidov\u00e9 tradici se k tomuto dni v\u00e1\u017ee zvyk vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed Smrtky. Na vesnic\u00edch i ve m\u011bstech, na Morav\u011b, ve Slezsku i v \u010cech\u00e1ch se ka\u017ed\u00fd rok touto dobou sch\u00e1zela ml\u00e1de\u017e, aby z r\u016fzn\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edrodn\u00edch materi\u00e1l\u016f, obno\u0161en\u00fdch \u0161at\u016f, sl\u00e1my a cingrl\u00e1tek vyrobila figur\u00ednu Smrtky, Mo\u0159eny, Ma\u0159eny, Morany, Smrtholky, nebo tak\u00e9 Smr\u0165\u00e1ka \u010di Ma\u0159\u00e1ka. Ta se potom nastr\u010dila na bidlo \u010di vidle a za sborov\u00e9ho zp\u011bvu a \u0159\u00edk\u00e1n\u00ed se vyn\u00e1\u0161ela mimo lidsk\u00e9 p\u0159\u00edbytky. Zde se ritu\u00e1ln\u011b usmrtila a jej\u00ed ostatky se poslaly po vod\u011b, aby se u\u017e tento rok nevr\u00e1tila a nemohla d\u00e1l \u0161kodit. Cel\u00e9 vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed byla z\u00e1le\u017eitost rychl\u00e1, ji\u017e po cest\u011b se Smrtce barvit\u011b sp\u00edlalo, h\u00e1zely se po n\u00ed st\u0159epy a bl\u00e1to, aby bylo jasn\u00e9, \u017ee tady u\u017e j\u00ed p\u0161enka nepokvete, \u017ee j\u00ed v\u0161ichni maj\u00ed dost. Za hranic\u00ed vesnice pak byla zap\u00e1lena, shozena ze sk\u00e1ly, utopena \u010di rozdup\u00e1na a vhozena do potoka. Je\u0161t\u011b kdy\u017e odplouvala, doprov\u00e1zel j\u00ed k\u0159ik d\u011bt\u00ed a spr\u0161ky kamen\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>Tento archaick\u00fd pohansk\u00fd zvyk pat\u0159\u00ed v na\u0161em kraji mezi ty nejstar\u0161\u00ed. V\u00fdznamn\u00fd \u010desk\u00fd etnolog \u010cen\u011bk Z\u00edbrt dokonce tvrdil, \u017ee je to pravd\u011bpodobn\u011b nejstar\u0161\u00ed oby\u010dej v\u016fbec. Jedn\u00e1 se o jeden z typick\u00fdch ritu\u00e1l\u016f p\u0159echodu. Jak \u010das plyne je pot\u0159eba zbavit \u00a0se v\u0161eho star\u00e9ho, odum\u0159el\u00e9ho, ne\u017e\u00e1douc\u00edho a poka\u017een\u00e9ho. Zosobn\u011bn\u00edm ve\u0161ker\u00fdch t\u011bchto ne\u0161var\u016f je pr\u00e1v\u011b postava Smrtky, jej\u00edm\u017e odstran\u011bn\u00edm za doprovodu pat\u0159i\u010dn\u00fdch ritu\u00e1ln\u00edch gest a formul\u00ed se m\u016f\u017eeme se v\u0161\u00edm \u0161kodliv\u00fdm vypo\u0159\u00e1dat. Tomuto aktu byl p\u0159ikl\u00e1d\u00e1n velk\u00fd v\u00fdznam a jeho opominut\u00ed m\u011blo dle lidov\u00e9 tradice fat\u00e1ln\u00ed n\u00e1sledky. Hojn\u011b roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159en\u00e1 pov\u011bra prav\u00ed, \u017ee v rodin\u011b, ze kter\u00e9 se alespo\u0148 jeden hoch nez\u00fa\u010dastn\u00ed vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed Smrtky, dan\u00fd rok s jistotou n\u011bkdo zem\u0159e. Pokud by se n\u011bjak\u00fdm nepochopiteln\u00fdm \u0159\u00edzen\u00edm osudu stalo, \u017ee by Smrtka nebyla vynesena v\u016fbec, \u010dekala by celou vesnici hotov\u00e1 apokalypsa &#8211; hromadn\u00e9 vym\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed lid\u00ed i dobytka, nemoci a hlad.<\/p>\n<p>A\u010dkoliv je vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed smrti typicky slovansk\u00fd fenom\u00e9n, d\u00edky prol\u00edn\u00e1n\u00ed kultur se ze z\u00e1padoslovansk\u00fdch oblast\u00ed roz\u0161\u00ed\u0159il i mezi sousedn\u00ed etnika. Setkat se s n\u00edm tedy m\u016f\u017eeme tak\u00e9 v N\u011bmecku \u010di Ma\u010farsku.<\/p>\n<p>Za dlouhou dobu sv\u00e9 existence za\u017eil tento ritu\u00e1l ji\u017e mnoh\u00e9. Do\u0161lo u n\u011bj k \u010detn\u00fdm krajov\u00fdm i dobov\u00fdm diferenciac\u00edm, \u010delil mnoha c\u00edrkevn\u00edm i sv\u011btsk\u00fdm z\u00e1kaz\u016fm (ze kter\u00fdch jej \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b, a\u010dkoliv sp\u00ed\u0161e mimod\u011bk, vysekal z\u00e1znam polsk\u00e9ho kronik\u00e1\u0159e J. Dlugosze, kter\u00fd v topen\u00ed figur na Smrtnou ned\u011bli spat\u0159oval symboliku k\u00e1cen\u00ed pohansk\u00fdch model) a ve 20. stolet\u00ed jen tak tak \u017ee nepadl za ob\u011b\u0165 kulturn\u00ed nivelizaci a urbanizaci. Dnes jsou na na\u0161em \u00fazem\u00ed pouze t\u0159i m\u00edsta, kde se tradice vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed Smrtky udr\u017eela bez p\u0159eru\u0161en\u00ed a\u017e do dne\u0161n\u00edch dn\u00ed. V Suchovr\u0161ic\u00edch na Trutnovsku se a\u017e dodnes vyn\u00e1\u0161\u00ed smrt a smr\u0165\u00e1k, ve Vlastibo\u0159i na Sob\u011bslavsku se konaj\u00ed obch\u016fzky s panenkou Mark\u00e9tou a v Sulislavi na St\u0159\u00edbrsku se pro zm\u011bnu chod\u00ed s miminkem. St\u00e1le v\u00edce v\u0161ak p\u016fsob\u00ed tak\u00e9 vnit\u0159n\u00ed i vn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed podn\u011bty, kter\u00e9 se sna\u017e\u00ed tuto tradici zachovat a obnovit. Vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed Smrtky se tak op\u011bt st\u00e1v\u00e1 sou\u010d\u00e1st\u00ed \u017eivota jednotliv\u00fdch obc\u00edch, \u0161koln\u00edch program\u016f \u010di r\u016fzn\u00fdch jarn\u00edch festival\u016f a oslav.<\/p>\n<p>A\u010dkoliv se smrt vyn\u00e1\u0161\u00ed nej\u010dast\u011bji o 5. ned\u011bli postn\u00ed, v n\u011bkter\u00fdch oblastech p\u0159ipad\u00e1 tato kratochv\u00edle i na ned\u011bli 6. \u010di 4. (kter\u00e1 je vlastn\u011b star\u0161\u00edm a p\u016fvodn\u00edm term\u00ednem tohoto oby\u010deje). Tak\u00e9 podoba figur\u00edn a pr\u016fb\u011bh cel\u00e9ho ritu\u00e1lu nab\u00edz\u00ed \u0159adu variant. Smrt m\u016f\u017ee m\u00edt podobu \u017eeny, mu\u017ee i d\u00edt\u011bte, n\u011bkde je dokonce vyn\u00e1\u0161ena v p\u00e1ru. Jej\u00ed z\u00e1klad obvykle tvo\u0159\u00ed dv\u011b zk\u0159\u00ed\u017een\u00e1 d\u0159eva obalen\u00e1 sl\u00e1mou \u010di do\u0161ky. Hlavu p\u0159edstavuje pytel vycpan\u00fd star\u00fdmi hadry \u010di jin\u00fdm materi\u00e1lem, na kter\u00fd je uhlem na\u010drtnut\u00fd zubat\u00fd obli\u010dej (co\u017e hezky dokresluje skute\u010dnost, \u017ee slovo Smrt pat\u0159ilo mezi slova tabuizovan\u00e1 a \u010dasto se tak m\u00edsto n\u011bj pou\u017e\u00edvalo pr\u00e1v\u011b opisu\u00a0ta zubat\u00e1). Oble\u010dena b\u00fdvala do \u0161at\u016f b\u00edl\u00e9 barvy, kterou archaick\u00e9 n\u00e1rody pova\u017eovaly za barvu smrti, nebo tak\u00e9 do r\u016fzn\u00fdch \u010d\u00e1st\u00ed kroj\u016f. Kdy\u017e se pr\u016fvod vypo\u0159\u00e1dal se Smrtkou, dosyta se j\u00ed vysm\u00e1l a vynad\u00e1val, bylo t\u0159eba p\u0159in\u00e9st do vsi, o\u010di\u0161t\u011bn\u00e9 od v\u0161eho star\u00e9ho a zka\u017een\u00e9ho, \u010derstvou s\u00edlu, nov\u00fd po\u010d\u00e1tek. Jeho symbolem bylo pr\u00e1v\u011b zelen\u00e9 l\u00edto, l\u00e9te\u010dko, m\u00e1j\u00ed\u010dek &#8211; mlad\u00fd zelen\u00fd strome\u010dek, nazdoben\u00fd pentli\u010dkami a barevn\u00fdmi vaj\u00ed\u010dky. Nejsp\u00ed\u0161 pr\u00e1v\u011b d\u00edky n\u011bmu do\u0161lo \u010dasem k ur\u010dit\u00e9mu v\u00fdznamov\u00e9mu posunu cel\u00e9ho ob\u0159adu, kdy je vesel\u00e9 zelen\u00e9 l\u00e9te\u010dko ztoto\u017e\u0148ov\u00e1no s jarem a Smrtka, jako jeho protiklad, je pak vn\u00edm\u00e1na jako prost\u00e9 zosobn\u011bn\u00ed zimy.<\/p>\n<p>Toto spojen\u00ed vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed Mo\u0159eny a p\u0159in\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed l\u00edta do jednoho celku je v\u0161ak pom\u011brn\u011b novou z\u00e1le\u017eitost\u00ed. Tam, kde se tradice zachovala v p\u016fvodn\u011bj\u0161\u00ed podob\u011b, \u010dekalo se s p\u0159inesen\u00edm l\u00edta a\u017e do dal\u0161\u00ed ned\u011ble. \u00da\u010dastn\u00edci vyn\u00e1\u0161en\u00ed smrtky se tak do vesnice nevraceli ve vesel\u00e9m pr\u016fvodu v \u010dele s vy\u0161\u0148o\u0159en\u00fdm letorostem, ale v p\u0159ekotn\u00e9m \u00faprku.
